About the location.

The MTM is located at a previous military ordnance depot from the cold war era. The province of Noord Brabant will establish a Cold War monument accessible for public. MTM itself will not be open for public.

Vision

In the complexity of the global community the awareness of every individual is of importance. The vast area of expertise on weapons and munitions is too important for just being exclusively reserved for manufacturers (economy) and customers (different states/governments). A government is not always able to provide all the security to her individual civilians and their property as necessary. Therefore the humanitarian needs of civilians, suffering explosive violence, need further civilian initiatives from the private sector.

Mission

As part of civil society, the MTM foundation is an independent non-profit organisation providing advice and assistance in the areas of demining and Explosive Remnants of War (ERW). It fulfils a role as an training centre and as a centre of expertise to provide training and workshops and/or assists in improvement of knowledge in the exchange of information. As such MTM adds value to the improvement of safety in our country (e.g. WWII munitions and other internal areas of interest). An important role is to help humanitarian organisations in the improvement of knowledge and awareness in these areas of expertise.
